GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions apply to all competitions featured in any publications and online services that are organised by East Coast Raffles (“Eastcoastraffles.co.uk”) (or a third party on East Coast Raffles behalf).
By entering a competition entrants accept these terms and conditions together with any specific instructions and terms for such competition which may be mentioned in any electronic messages, or on the website, or communicated to entrants in any other way (“competition information”). Such competition information shall prevail in the event of there being any inconsistency between these competition terms and conditions and any competition information.
1. Cancellation
1.1 East Coast Raffles may cancel or amend any competition, competition information, or these terms and conditions without prior notice. Any changes will be posted either within the competition information or on these terms and conditions. In the event of a cancelled competition a full refund will be given to each entrant.
2. Eligibility
You are eligible to enter if you are:
2.1. A residents of the United Kingdom, i.e. England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales, aged 18 and over, and are not an employee of the Promoter or anyone professionally connected with the Promotion. For the avoidance of doubt the following are not considered part of the United Kingdom in our competitions – Jersey, Guernsey, and the Isle of Man.
3. Prize:
2. The promoter may operate multiple competitions at any one time, each competition will have a specific number of prize(s) and will be indicated on each individual promotion under the terms “competition information”.
2.1 East Coast Raffles prizes are determined, selected and owned by the promoter from the date of the Competition going live on the website to the date that the winner receives the prize. All prizes are picked and purchased by the promoter and allocated by the promoter in accordance with these terms and conditions to the winner. Details of each available prize can be found on the website on the competition page(s).
2.3 East Coast Raffles take no responsibility for the prize awarded after delivery, once the winner receives the prize the promoter does not insure the prize. No insurance comes with the prizes and the promoter cannot be held responsible for the prize once handed over to the winner.
2.4 Where a prize is provided by a supplier, the promoter accepts no responsibility for inaccuracy of any prize description, and the supplier is responsible for prize fulfilment.
3. Entrants & Winners information / Personal Data:
3.1. By entering a Competition, you agree to the use of your name, address, and/or photograph or other likeness, as well as your appearance at publicity events without any additional payment (except for reasonable travel expenses) and as required by the promoter in the event of you being declared a winner.
3.2. Acceptance by the Winner means they are required to show proof of identification on delivery of the prize(s) and have photo(s) and or video(s) taken by the promotor for promotional purposes in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 and subject to the terms of Privacy Policy. Failure to meet these requirement may result in the winner being disqualified and the promoter retaining the prize, unless otherwise prohibited by law. This is in accordance to section 7.
3.3. All Winners will also be required to provide photo(s) and or video(s), which may be used in future marketing and public relations by the promoter in connection with the competition and in identifying them as a winner of a competition, all such winners are deemed to have given their consent.
3.4. Delivery to the winner is free, subject to the terms outlined in section 2. The promoter has a right to charge the winner delivery fees if they want the prize delivering anywhere other than the winner’s address in the United Kingdom.
4. Question(s) and Entry
4.1. Entrants will be required to answer one or more questions of skill correctly (in line with the answer held by the promoters) in order to be entered into the prize draw to win the Prize. Failure to answer any question correctly via the website will still result in any entrant to be charged.
4.2. All Entrants who have answered the question(s) of skill correctly will be entered into a draw which will be randomly selected by independent means as stated in section 8.
4.3. There is no requirement to pay to enter any competition, as each competition has a free entry route available – see rules in section 9. for further details on how to enter for free.
5. Maximum Entries Per Person
5.1. Each competition will have it’s own maximum number of entries and can be found on the individual “competitions page”.
6. Ending of the Competition
6.1. Each competition will close once the maximum number of entries has been reached for the respective competition or the competition end date has passed. In the event that the competition end date has passed and the competition does not reach the maximum number of participating entries, the prize(s) may still be awarded at the sole discretion of the promoter if they deem that a sufficient number of entrants has participated.
6.2. In the event the promotor deems that there has not been a sufficient number of entrants entered into the competition, a full refund for ticket(s) will be issued. Our liability for losses you suffer as a result of us ending the competition due to insufficient entries is strictly limited to the purchase price of the ticket(s) that you have purchased.
6.3. If for any reason the promoter is unable to contact a winner within 7 days of the end of a competition, or the winner fails for whatever reason or cause to confirm acceptance of the prize(s) and/or the winner is disqualified as a result of not complying with any of these terms and conditions, the winner hereby agrees that it will immediately and irrevocably forfeit the prize(s) which will as a result remain in the possession and ownership of the promoter.
7. Data Protection
7.1. Any personal information that entrants share with the Promoter will be kept secure and only used in line with these terms and conditions unless the entrant has opted in to future marketing from the Promoter and/or the Supplier. By entering the promotion, entrants agree that their information may be used by the Promoter to administer the promotion and winners consent to give their name and county for the winners’ list.
7.2. The Entrants and the promoter also recognise that the promoter may (either by choice or at the request of a third party) also disclose this information to relevant third parties for the purposes of the prevention of fraud, money laundering, legal or other financial or regulatory reasons.
8. Miscellaneous
8.1. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for system errors or other issues that may result in disruption to, lost, delayed or not received entries, winner notifications or prizes. The promoter, the supplier or its agencies will not be responsible for the non-inclusion of entries as a result of technical failures or otherwise, including any such failure which is within the control of the promoter or its agencies.
8.2. By entering any competition featured in any publications and online services that are organised by East Coast Raffles (or a third party on East Coast Raffles behalf), entrants acknowledge that their payment for each entry to answer the question and thereby enter the competition does not guarantee in any way that they will win the prize.
8.3. The decisions of the Promoter are final and binding in all matters relating to the promotion and no correspondence will be entered into.
8.4. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse or disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds for believing that an entrant has contravened any of these terms and conditions or acted in a way that is reasonably considered by the Promoter to be illegal.
8.5. Incomplete, illegible, misdirected or late entries will not be accepted. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery or receipt. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are incomplete, lost due to technical reasons, corrupted, delayed, wrongly delivered, or not received for whatsoever reason.
8.6. The draw will take place using Facebook live stream with a member of the East Coast Raffles team will use the Google random number generator to select the winning number.
8.7. Our liability for losses you suffer as a result of us breaching this agreement is strictly limited to the purchase price of the ticket(s) you purchased.
9. Postal Entries
9.1. Postal Entries are limited to one entry to each competition per postcard. In order to enter the competition via postal entry you will be required to send an unenclosed postcard with your

9.2. Along with the name of the competition you wish to enter and the answer to the question asked for the competition desired to enter.
9.3. All details must be clearly written. You must be registered as a customer on our website before sending your postal entry.

9.4. Postal entries details must match that of the account registered with East Coast Raffles. Failure to match a registered account with your postal entry will result in your entry being void.
9.5. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be immediately published on the competition home page.
10. Marketing Emails
10.1. “Marketing Emails” refers to any promotional email communication. The information transmitted in these emails is intended only for the person(s) or entity to which it is addressed and may contain proprietary, confidential and/or privileged material. If you have received an email in error, please contact the sender. Although the emails and any attachments are believed to be free of any virus, it is the responsibility of the recipient to ensure that they are virus free and no responsibility is accepted by the sender for any loss or damage arising in any way from the receipt or use thereof. Errors and omissions are excepted.
11. Rewards
10.1. Points are earned for each payment made. Points earned are not the property of the customer. Rewards points have no cash value, and cannot be used as payment of any obligation to us or our affiliates.
10.2 Any points accrued shall be permanently forfeited upon the customers account closure. If there is any abuse of the program, failure to follow Program terms, or any misrepresentation by you the customer, all unredeemed points shall be forfeited, and no additional points shall be accumulate.
10.3 There is no maximum number of points that you can accumulate in the Program.
10.4 Points are none transferable and apply only to the account accumulated on.
10.5 Rewards points, as well as any disclaimers, are subject to change by East Coast Raffles at any time. The Program and benefits are offered at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to alter or waive any Program feature or benefit prospectively or retroactively, including, without limitation, participation fees, point accrual or redemption criteria, or to cancel or temporarily suspend the Program at any time without prior notice. Any such modifications and/or termination may reduce or eliminate your accrued points entirely.
10.6 We reserve the right to make appropriate changes to any accrued points reward with respect to account activity. For example, if you are able to redeem more points than you have appropriately accrued due to a system or technological failure or malfunction or for any reason whatsoever, you agree that we may correspondingly reduce the number of points posted to your Rewards Balance to adjust for such excess redemption.
10.7 Our Rewards Programme is only available to current active account users who have a good standing account. Customers who have previously cancelled orders may at our discretion be unable to obtain rewards. Rewards cannot be used to bring the customer account into credit or to correct arears on the customer account.
10.8 We reserve the right to refuse the User from redeeming previously accrued
Rewards if;
(a) The User exercises any action of fraud in the accrual of the

(b) The User Account is in negative credit
(c) The User Rewards were accrued from an online order that was
rejected at the time or a later date
(d) The User accrued Rewards from returned orders and or cancelled orders
10.8 If Rewards are forfeited for any reason, We will not reinstate these points.
10.9 Customer membership to participate in the Reward Programme will be created automatically when an access login and password for the online ordering platform has been provided to the customer. Membership will remain valid for the customers active trading period with us the promotor.
10.10 Review of your accrued points can be viewed from your account page.
10.11 Redeemed Rewards are not refundable, replaceable, or transferable for cash, credit, or other rewards under any circumstances. Unclaimed Rewards will not be replaced. Redeemed Rewards cannot be re-sold or exchanged for other goods or services except as stated on Our Site. Certain rewards are available
only during the time periods described in Our communications. We may substitute redeemed Rewards of equal or higher value as necessary at our discretion. Some Rewards have limited availability.
10.12 All Rewards are the responsibility of the customer to redeem. Once a formal request to redeem the Rewards has been made then there will be no opportunity to reverse that decision. Any Rewards redeemed are applied to the customer account with immediate effect.
12. Variation of Terms and Conditions
12.1. From time to time we may need to update these terms and conditions to reflect changes in legislation, the marketplace or company policy. The contract will be subject to those terms and conditions in force at the time of the formation of the contact – i.e. on the date of the Dispatch Email.
